The main challenge of this redesign was how to keep the valuable content which had been created over the years, yet imagine a new information structure and visual design that better reflected the client’s vision moving forward. The results are a refreshing visual design, hugely improved site flow, and robust new editorial section.

We designed and coded it.

Mapping their impact

A visually dynamic map that connects FUSE locations, projects and issues. Leveraging the Google Maps API to make adding cities easy for the client.

Connecting dots

Via the CMS, the client can easily connect FUSE fellows to their projects, locations, articles and issues. We then leverage those connections throughout interactions on the website.

Design for editorial

We designed a beautiful editorial section for FUSE stories.

South Bend Design was instrumental in helping our organization convey our messaging with a clean, modern, and approachable web design. The entire redesign process was smooth and timely. Jeff was an incredibly flexible, patient, and enthusiastic partner all the way to launch and beyond. We couldn’t ask for more from a design firm.
